It has been brought to my attention that the correct name of the cove outside AT&T Park is McCovey Cove.  I had incorrectly labeled the cove McCubby Cove.

 

Here is Wikipedia setting the record straight: McCovey Cove.

McCovey Cove was named after famed Giants first baseman Willie McCovey.

Here is the reference on a US Coast Guard webpage that led me astray incorrectly named.  (Of course had I not googled “McCubby Cove” in the first place I would have never found this page.)  Here is a screenshot of the webpage for posterity…

Setting the record straight.

The marina at McCovey Cove is South Beach Harbor Marnia.
