What You Need to Know

Is there a fuel dock? No, the marina does not have a permit to run a fuel dock at this time. You can however get fuel at the Gashouse Cove which is located near Fort Mason. If you prefer, you can also travel across the bay to the other marinas that do offer fuel, such as the Jack London Marina.

Can I stay on my boat? No, the marina does not allow “liveaboards” at this time. If you are a guest though, you are allowed to stay on your boat for up to two weeks. Permanent tenants are allowed to stay 72 hours on their boats every week.

Is there a wait list? Yes, and the wait is quite long. If you need a 30′ or 34′ berth, be prepared to wait at least four years for an opening. Anything larger, be prepared to wait around seven years. It is a good idea to get on the wait list since openings do occasionally occur from time to time.

Can I park at the Marina? Yes, if you are a permanent member, you’ll get two parking permits every year. You can only use these while you are actually on your boat. Guest passes are available, but there may be an additional fee.

Is there a pump out station? Yes, there are two located on each end of the marina. This service is provided free of charge.

Can I reach the Marina staff by radio? Yes, the staff can be reached on VHF 16 between the hours of 8:30 to 5pm.

Are there any environmental restrictions? Yes, the Marina has several. Please visit their website for more information about these rules and restrictions.
