Are pets allowed?
Yes, this is a very family and pet friendly marina. Please keep all pets on a leash however while you are visiting.
Is there a marine stand by channel?
At this time you cannot reach the marina by radio. You can however call ahead to the harbor master.
What kind of fish will I find here?
Sturgeon are by far the most popular, but many boaters come to this area for the catfish. If you can't catch a catfish here, there must be something wrong with your bait. Please keep in mind that normal state regulations are in place for fishing here. All boats must be operated under state and federal laws and you must have a fishing license before you can fish here.
What else do I need to know?
Although there is no fuel dock, there are restrooms at this location. No showers are provided however. If you need a pump out station, you will have to find another marina in the area, and there are several. This is more of a day-use marina for if you want to picnic or if you just plan to stay for a quick night. It's a friendly place though and the staff is quite helpful.
How to Get There:
FROM SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
Go north on HWY 80 To HWY 12 EAST.
Take HWY 12 To Rio Vista
In Rio Vista, just before crossing the bridge, turn right and follow the signs to Ryer Island. (Go under the bridge and drive along the river)
Follow the signs to the Real McCoy Ferry. Take the ferry to Ryer Island and turn left off the ferry. Stay on this road, HWY 84, till you get to the Minor Slough bridge.
Cross the bridge and turn left and stay straight on the levee road to ARROWHEAD HARBOR .(Do not turn down into the valley at the bridge)
