We stayed on the west shore.  It is a beautiful spot.  Just south of Sunnyside.

If you have the chance I highly recommend boating in Tahoe.

Restaurants on the water that we frequented...

• Sunnyside
• West Shore Cafe
• Jake's On the Lake
• Garwood's (you have try the Wet Woodie... on Wet Woodie Wednesday they are cheaper)
• The Beacon

Places we went with the boat...

• Emerald Bay -- We did a day cruise, but there is so much more.
• Meek's Bay -- Anchor and Swim.  Convenience Store and Small Marina.
• Rubicon Bay -- Anchor and Swim.
• Thunderbird Lodge (in Nevada).
• Sunnyside Gas Dock (Cheapest Gas on the Lake $4.50 OUCH!)
