Since this is a busy marina, we recommend calling ahead before you arrive to make sure that they can accommodate you. This is particularly important during the summer months as well as during Christmas time due to the annual events in the harbor.

This is a very nice facility that currently has 134 slips. There is a wait list and we recommend calling the marina right away if you would like to rent a spot. Some slips do come available from time to time and you can snap one up if you're on the list. Otherwise, you may have a very long wait.
This is a popular spot for those who want to watch the Christmas Boat Parade in Newport Beach. You'll literally have a front row seat to catch all of the action. The marina can accommodate boats from 20 feet up to 83 feet in length and the facilities are very well maintained.
How much do the berths cost?
The marina asks that all interested parties contact them for more information. Please keep in mind that space is very limited and there may be a fee to get on the wait list. Marinas in this area can be quite expensive, but they are usually well worth the fees given the types of services that are provided.

Although there is no restaurant on site, as they mentioned, you can find one just a few feet away. In addition, there are also numerous shops and grocery stores located in the area. There are no laundry facilities at the marina, but you can also find a Laundromat close by if you do need to wash your clothes.

Balboa Marina is considered to be one of the nicest facilities in Newport Beach. The amenities and services here are top notch and have much to offer the boater. However, due to its popularity, there is a long waiting list at this time. However, there are a couple of berths that do come available from time to time and the marina does offer guest facilities at times. It is best to call ahead for more information to make sure that they will have an opening for you.
About the Marina:
This marina is located right across from an exclusive community and is very high class. The fees are reasonable given its location and you do get what you pay for. If you are planning a trip to the Newport Harbor Museum, this is the perfect place to stop since it is literally just a few steps away. Overall, it is hard to find a marina this nice and with this many features. Visitors are never disappointed in the service and friendly nature of the staff. We highly recommend this marina if you will be in the area.

This is a terrific marina that is extremely helpful and the facilities are top notch. They offer RV sites as well as dry storage and numerous other amenities. This is one of the better priced marinas in the area and they have a nice range of services both for guests and regular members.

Showers, restrooms and a laundry facility are provided on site, and there is a nearby restaurant. In addition, there are several stores within a short distance away. This is also a resort, so if you are planning on staying for awhile, we highly recommend the pool and spa services.
