September 13th, 2007 — Boat Repair, San Ramon Boat Center
According to San Ramon Boats the reason my boat was not fueling after use was that the fuel fill hose (between fuel entry point and gas tank) was about 1 foot too long. I am sure the boat took gas no problem after the fix as the boat was cold. I hope it takes gas the next time it is hot.
I will be picking up my boat either today or tomorrow.

I have had a problem with my boat ever since I purchased it. It sometimes won't take fuel. It happens somewhat randomly; although, I think I noticed a pattern. It won't take fuel after it has been running.
Times it has taken fuel:
- In morning after sitting all night. Ran boat from buoy at Sunnyside to fuel dock at Sunnyside. (Tahoe)
- In morning after sitting all night after being looked at by Scott at San Ramon Boat. Ran boat from buoy at Sunnyside to fuel dock at Sunny side. (Tahoe)
- In morning after sitting all night. Ran boat from Swiss Village buoy field to Sunnyside. Boat initially wouldn't take gas. Boat took gas after 20 minutes. Scott from San Ramon Boats was there for 5 minutes before it suddenly took gas. (Tahoe)
- On Trailer, after leaving Tahoe. About 6 hours after it was last run. The last run was from Swiss Village buoy field to Sunnyside. (Central Valley)
Times it has not taken fuel:
- After using boat all day. Returned to Sunnyside for evening. Tried to fill up before shutting down for the day. (Tahoe)
- After using boat all day. Returned to Sunnyside for evening. Tried to fill up before shutting down for the day. (2nd time same pattern). (Tahoe)
- In morning after sitting all night. Ran boat from Swiss Village buoy field to Sunnyside. Boat initially wouldn't take gas. Boat took gas after 20 minutes. Scott from San Ramon Boats was there for 5 minutes before it suddenly took gas. This incident is in both lists. (Tahoe)
- After 2 days of use (Maiden Voyage On The Bay and Morning Cruise on the Bay). I tried to stop and fill up while on the trailer. (Bay Area)
I have an appointment with Dennis at San Ramon Boat Service Department in San Ramon on Saturday. I have every confidence that they will be able to fix the issue. (Update: Fuel Fill Hose Too Long)

I bought my boat from Kathy at San Ramon Boat Center at the Lake Tahoe location at Sunnyside. Fantastic! First Rate. I highly recommend them...
I then proceeded to put 35 hours on the boat while in Tahoe.
