Here are some photos from a fishing trip I went on in college from Cohasset, MA. We caught a couple of very nice (32-34 in) Strippers. I know the locale isn't the bay area, but the fish caught can also be caught in the bay area.
We caught these fish from a 17ft whaler about a mile off shore on some rocks. We were anchored and chunking and chumming. Great morning fishing... Thanks John.

Fishing Report: December 11, 2009 Striped Bass, Crab and Halibut In Berkeley/Emeryville, there hasn't been a crab trip this week. The last went on Saturday, but it did come back with its limit of crab. Sand dabs aren't found, however, and fish aren't biting anywhere but near the shore, and that's poor, too. San...... -
Fishing Report: December 04, 2009 Striped Bass, Crab and Halibut The general consensus is that crabbing is still going much better than anyone expected, but that it's still not nearly as good as it could be. In Berkeley/Emeryville, people are still pulling in their limit of crab, and weekday trips into the Bay are just......

Strippers? They look more like stripers to me. I’d like to be on a fishing trip with strippers…
