About the Marina:

The marina is located about one mile from the San Francisco Bay Bridge. You can find it right near Trader Vic's as well as the other public marina, the Emory Cove marina. Numerous amenities are offered at this marina and you can also reserve your slip online.

What You Need to Know:

What services are available? A pump out service is offered right at the marina and a fuel dock is also available. Currently, the marina offers two different pump out stations to decrease the overall wait time for their customers.

Is power service available? Yes, power and water is available at every slip in the marina.

What kind of security features are offered? The marina has controlled access gates but they do not have a security person on-site. They consider the marina to be one of the safest in the area.

Are liveaboards allowed? Yes, they are allowed but currently there is a four year waiting list.

Is there a launch ramp? Yes, the marina supplies a launch ramp for their customers and the service is free to use.

How large a boat can I have? The marina is able to assist boat owners with vessels that are smaller than 65 feet. They also cater to small boat owners in particular.

Do they offer any special hazardous waste collection? At this time, the marina is only able to collect oil.

Are there any restaurants in the area? In addition to the famous Trader Vic's the marina is also within walking distance of several fine restaurants.

Are there any other special services offered? Yes, the marina provides its customers with shower and laundry facilities as well as grills and an outdoor eating area, telephone and fax services.

Who is the harbor master? Don Gussler is the current harbor master and he has several years in marina management, boat service and many other areas of expertise.

Are there any public transportation services nearby? Yes, the marina is within walking distance of a nearby Amtrak station and in addition the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit System) serves San Francisco and Oakland from this location.

How do I get to the marina? Please visit their website or call for exact instruction on how to reach the marina by land or by water.

Should I become a member? If you need to find transient service or you want to take advantage of the WaterWay Adventures program, becoming a member is a very good idea. The marina is a member of Marinas International which has locations all over the US and other countries. Becoming a member will offer you a discount on all marina services and you can also get discounts on their houseboat vacation plans at other locations.

What kind of docks are available? The marina has both wooden and cement docks. There are currently more cement docks than wooden.
