Emeryville: Rock cod has been strong, with many pulling in limits.

Folsom: Go to 20 feet below to get the best bass fishing in the area. Topwater bites are few and far between.

Lake San Antonia: Look toward Harris Creek and half moon bay for your striper fishing. Shad is helping to catch the largest amount of stripers. Crappie fishing is perfect along the shoreline in between the launch ramps of Lynch and Harris Creek.

Monterey: Limits of rock cod are being hit in the area on a somewhat regular basis.

Pillsbury: The Backs of Coves and the front of Tules are bringing in good bass. Don’t expect a plant of trout here, even as fishing continues to slow.

Quarry Lakes: Trout fishing has been temperamental at best. Shore fishing is bringing in more consistent fishing results.

San Luis Reservoir: Striped bass being caught relatively easily in the main lake. Stripers are also being caught in the area, closer to the forebay.

San Pablo Reservoir: Shore fishing has been plentiful and consistent for weeks, especially for those fishing in the morning. Large plants on Friday and Wednesday have increased bites and catches.
