Special Notes:

This is an incredibly popular lake but it does have a few downsides. The main problem appears to be low water levels near some of the launches. However, lake management has managed to develop work arounds in most locations. Please be advised that the season may be shortened if lake levels drop too much. It is best to call ahead before visiting the lake.

Please note that fires are only allowed at camp sites that have been equipped with special stoves. Please follow lake regulations on fire to avoid starting a forest fire. There is a night time speed limit of 5 mph in some locations on the lake. Please be advised of this and look for signs to indicate where the restrictions are enforced.
