About the Lake:
With 165 miles of shoreline and the fact that this is the only place to find white bass in the entire state, Lake Nacimiento has earned its reputation as one of the finest boating and fishing lakes in California. The entire lake stretches out over 16 miles and there are numerous places to find fish thanks to its depths.
If you’re tired of bass, there are also numerous other varieties of fish that are stocked in the lake every year. The full service resort, restaurant and camping facilities make this a favorite lake for family vacations or just a quiet getaway. If you’re staying in the resort, they also offering numerous freebies such as swimming and hot tub access. The lake’s general store will have you well provisioned for your day on the lake and it stocks all the latest name brands.

Please note that there are smaller independent camp sites located around the lake.
Boating Restrictions:
The lake management requires that all vessels operate under state and federal regulations. Please note that if you are a renting a boat here that the fuel and oil needed for the boat are not included in the rental fee.
What kind of fish can be found in the lake?
White bass, other species of bass as well as catfish, bluegill and crappie can be found here.
Are there any fishing restrictions?
Yes, lake officials state:
White Bass: Open season all year. Limit: No Limit
Bass: Open season all year. Limit: five bass. Minimum length: twelve inches.
Catfish: Open season all year. Limit: twenty (except Bullheads no limit.)
Crappie: Open season all year. Limit: twenty-five
Bluegill: May be taken in any number and at any time of the year by angling.
