Boat Rentals:

If you do not have your own vessel, there are numerous different types of rental boats available, or you may prefer to take a guided cruise around the magnificent lake.

About Lake Tahoe: The original name of Lake Tahoe was "Dao w a ga," as assigned by its native peoples. New settlers mispronounced the original name and after several years it became known simply as Lake Tahoe. It is now synonymous with luxury, relaxation and one of the best places to go boating in the United States. It is estimated that the lake holds 39 trillion gallons of water and it is the second deepest lake in the United States with a depth of more than 1600 feet.

Services Available: The lake is home to many chandleries and boat works. You will be able to find numerous places to dock and refuel on all sides of the lake.
