Amenities: You can find restaurants, gas and pay phones approximately 5 miles northwest, which is in Point Reyes Station, or approximately 10 miles to the southeast, which is in Fairfax. The park offers good campsites for individual camping, though additional fees apply for their use.

Rules: Half of the trails are designated as being multi use, while others are hiking only. Dogs are permitted in the park's developed areas, the picnic and camping areas. All dogs must be on a leash. The park is open between 8 o'clock am and 8 o'clock pm every day.

Fees: There is a $6 dollar entrance and parking fee, which can be paid at the entrance kiosk just inside of the parking area. Camping accommodations are provided for additional fees.

Accommodations: There is plenty of parking provided inside the park. Maps are provided at the ranger station during its hours of operation. Thee are restrooms as well as drinking water stations available all throughout the park's developed areas. There are two handicapped designated parking spots and most trails are wheelchair accessible.

Public Transportation: The West Marin Stagecoach does offer public transportation that travels to this trailhead.

How to Get There: From the US 101 within Marin County, you should take the San Anselmo and Sir Francis Drake exit. Continue on for approximately 15 miles, traveling west on Sir Francis Drake until you reach the park entrance, which is going to be on the leftmost side of the road.
