What You Need to Know:
Please note that in order to access the marina you'll need to travel through a small channel. We highly recommend calling ahead to check the water depth in the channel before you arrive. While it is usually deep enough for most boats, it's still a good idea to check just in case. The main downside is that fuel is not offered at this location, but if you are looking for a place to camp while you're staying at Lake Tahoe, then that is a small price to pay given that the camping facilities are so nice. There are plenty of fuel docks in the area so you really won't be out much. They do offer several camping options and the whole family should be able to enjoy the facilities that are available. The prices are reasonable, but please keep in mind that there are some restrictions, which we will detail below.
Fees:
Please contact the marina for more information on their fees for dock rental and other services. If you do plan to keep your boat here, it is best to call ahead and see what the current availability is. Like most marinas in this area they do have a wait list. However, guest docks are usually available. If you're planning on visiting during the peak periods on the lake, it is best to reserve your space to ensure availability.
The marina provided the following information for those who wish to camp on-site:
- Must be made with a valid credit card. Check out these credit card recommendations.
- 50% of the total will be charged to your card at the time the reservation is made. Lodging tax is applied to all units (you will be sent an invoice, copy of your reservation, and copies of the charges to your card).
- The balance is due 2 weeks after the reservation is made (you will recieve confirmation that the Lodging is paid in full after the second payment is recieved). For Kehlet reservations, the balance is due 2 MONTHS after the reservation is made
