- The Hike: This is a moderate 10.3 mile out and back hike that has approximately 1,500 feet worth of elevation change all told. This is a featured hike that begins at about 700 feet in elevation and eventually climbs as high as 2,100 feet in elevation before descending back down toward the trailhead again. Most of the elevation changes are really gentle, but that does not stop this particular hike from being really strenuous.

- Category and Difficulty: Because of the length of this hike, it is perceived to be a strenuous and difficult one. The elevation changes are great, but gentle, allowing this to be a relatively moderate hike in general.
- Exposure: This trail offers more sun than shade.
- Traffic: The traffic on this trail is moderate around the trail head and then lighter when you go further along the trail.
- Trail Surface: This trail is made up of dirt roads and fire trails.
- Walk Time: The average walk time for this trail is five hours, give or take depending on your skills.
- Season: This particular trail is nice all throughout the year, but happens to be especially nice during the spring months.
- Trailhead Coordinates: This trailhead is located at 38°21'22.88"N Latitude // 122°32'41.52"W Longitude.
Amenities: You can find gas, stores, pay phones and restaurants all in nearby Glen Ellen as well as in small clusters all along Arnold Drive and the 12. There is no camping provided here or nearby.
Rules: The park opens at 9:30am and is open until sunset. The closing hour will change all throughout the year. Some trails are hiking only, other trails are multi use. Dogs are only permitted if they are on a leash.
Fees: The entrance fee is $6 if it is attended or no charge if it is not attended. There is a large paved parking lot inside and the parking is free.

How to Get There: From the US 101 in Sonoma County you are going to want to exit at CA 12, then drive southeast on the 12 for approximately 25 miles until you reach Arnold Drive, turning right. Drive south for approximately 1 mile into Glen Ellen, and then turn right when you reach London Ranch Road. Drive west on this road for approximately 1.2 miles until you reach the entrance kiosk for the park. Pass the kiosk and drive less than 0.1 of a mile before you reach the parking lot on the right.
