Boating is definitely allowed when visiting Starkweather Lake, however many guides will advise against boating because there is plenty of fishing that can be enjoyed without.

You should plan on doing some serious walking down along the river because the fish can become easily spooked, so this particular fishing excursion will involve a bit of a field trip.
