When you think about San Francisco and everything that it has to offer, some of the first images that leap into the mind are its museums, its restaurants and its nightclubs. Some of the most incredible things that San Francisco has to offer can actually be found in the beautiful outdoors. Here is a look at some of the ways that you can experience and enjoy everything that San Francisco outdoors has to offer you.

Things to Bring:

Bring Binoculars as there are plenty of stunning views to behold,

Bring a Camera as there are some incredible photo opportunities,

Golden Gate Park - You need to make sure that you spend at least a few hours visiting the Golden Gate Park. This is a truly superb and incredible haven that is rife with rolling glens, natural ponds and forested paths for you to behold. Another fine place for you to visit is known as Stow Lake, and it offers plenty of opportunities for you to take to the water including rental motor boats, rental pedal boats and rental row boats as well.

Japanese Tea Garden - While you are visiting Golden Gate Park, you need to take a break from the luscious views to take in everything that the Japanese Tea Garden has to offer. Here you will find one of the finest tea gardens in all of America. There are unique ponds filled with colorful fish, colorful Pagodas, antique statutes and even a beautiful Moon Bridge. This is an open air tea house that is accompanied by a gift shop, adding to the unique allure of this place.

Ocean Beach - Located at the western side of the park you will find Ocean Beach which is a stretch of sand that is remote and relatively unspoiled as well. This beach offers a truly unfettered view of the stunning Pacific Ocean, and if you enjoy bird watching then this is the place to do it.

San Francisco Zoo - The San Francisco Zoo is not far from Ocean Beach, offering plenty of worthwhile attractions for you to behold. Do not forget to head north to experience the Cliff House, a charming restaurant that offers stunning views and cuisine that is to die for, making this a must visit part of the San Francisco Bay area.

Chrissy Field Marina - This is another one of the nicest possible strolls in all of San Francisco. This marina is located somewhat east of the Golden Gate Bridge in the northern end of the city. If you walk west of here you will find some unique areas to host a picnic that are not far from the bridge at all, meaning that the views are as spectacular as they can be.

We'll keep going in part two, bringing you more unique things to do and see in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area.
