Amenities: You will find pay phones, gas, restaurants and picnic supplies at the junction between the 35 and the 84, which is approximately 6 miles southbound from the trailhead. No camping provisions are provided at this trailhead.

Rules: Most of the trails here are considered to be multi use in nature. A few of the trails here are only open to the hikers, so make sure to watch for signs. Dogs are not permitted at all here on the trails.

Fees: There is no parking or entrance fees for this trailhead.

Map: A good map for getting to this region is the AAA San Francisco Bay Region map.

Accommodations: There are two handicapped designated parking spots, and parking is provided for approximately six additional vehicles. There is a pit toilet that is wheelchair accessible inside of this preserve. There are maps available at the trailhead where there is an informational sign board.

Public Transportation: There is no public transportation that will bring you directly to this trailhead.

How to Get There: There are two ways to get here: From the Interstate 280, located in San Mateo County, you can:

- Exit at CA 84 Woodside Road and drive west for approximately 6.5 miles until you reach the CA 35 / Skyline Boulevard junction. Turn right at the junction and continue on for an additional 6 miles until you reach a small parking lot, which will be on the leftmost side of this road. Keep an eye out for it, as it is an easy one to miss.

- Exit at CA 92 and drive westbound for approximately 3 miles before turning left onto Skyline Boulevard / CA 35. Now drive for approximately 6 miles until you reach a parking lot on the rightmost side of the road. This is the Purisima parking lot. If you find yourself reaching the junction at Tunitas Creek Road, turn around as you have gone too far.
