Is boating allowed?
Boating is allowed, and Lake Texoma is a popular lake for sailing as it provides good winds, good anchorage, excellent marinas and an active racing community. Boats can be rented from a number of different rental locations around the lake, and there is also plenty to do from people that want to enjoy the lake without a boat.
Is there a boat ramp?

Is camping allowed?
Camping is allowed, and there are also additional lodging options available as well, including the Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center which is located close to the lake. Some of the recommended Campgrounds include Thousand Trails, Lake Texoma State Park, Lighthouse Marina, Cedar Mills Marina, Paradise Cove, Preston Bend Resort and Juniper Point.
What You Need to Know -
Texoma Lake offers 89,000 acres of water and 580 miles of shoreline. It was formed when the Denison Dam was built in 1944. The lake gets its water from Washita River and the Red river, contributing to 89,000 acres worth of water. Lake Texoma is the second largest lake in Texas, and the 11th largest man made lake in the entire United States. This lake offers deep, clear water and plenty of coves, sandy beaches, resorts, camp grounds and restaurants to get enjoyment from.
Is fishing allowed?
Not only is fishing allowed, but it also happens to be one of the things that this lake is best known for. Numerous fishing competitions are hosted at Lake Texoma throughout the year, and the lake is regarded as a popular destination for fishing. What kind of fish will I find there? - The largest striper caught in the lake was 38 lbs. The lake is well known for providing a high variety of different species of fish, and Lake Texoma is especially known for its stripers, which are Striped white bass. Largemouth bass offer good fishing, and the fishing for Crappie and White Bass is also good. Fishing for catfish, hybrid striped bass and smallmouth bass is considered to be excellent. There is usually a high volume of fish available in this lake.
